Do you need help finding out which glove is for you? We're sure we have a glove that will fit the needs of your business ...Medical, Dental, Food-Service, Tattoo Artists, Cleaning Services...We have a glove for you! When choosing a glove you should consider the amount of protection you need, the glove's quality, how it is made, and any allergic reactions you may have.

Latex Gloves
Natural rubber latex is made from the rubber tree, Hevea Brasiliensis, originating in Brazil. In 1876 the seeds were exported to England and germinated at Kew Gardens in London. Joseph Priestly, a British chemist, named it "rubber" when he noticed that it could rub away pencil marks.

The rubber tree thrives in hot damp regions, and today, 90 percent of true rubber production takes place in the Southeast Asian countries of Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Why Choose Latex?
Latex has long been the gold standard for gloves for healthcare settings. Its consistent fit, flexibility and resilience have made it a favorite of medical professionals for decades. Its reliable performance and barrier protection against infection and contamination have made it the most trusted material on the market.

However...If you have sensitivity to Latex you should not choose this glove. The protein in latex gloves causes irritation and an allergic reaction in a significant number of people.

Nitrile Gloves -back to top
Nitrile Gloves are made of synthetic latex. They contain no latex proteins and are extremely resistant to punctures and tears. They are superior not only in resistance to puncture but are also resistant to chemicals. Nitrile gloves slide on easily and exceptionally soft giving the wearer sensitivity & flexibility. The nitrile material reacts to your body temperature and conforms to the shape of your hand, making them exceptionally snug.

You should choose nitrile gloves if you need a textured glove that offers tensile strength and durability, using gloves while working with petroleum-based products. Our nitrile gloves are offered in both exam and industrial strength.

Should you choose industrial or exam?
BOTH Nitrile Industrial and Exam Grade are made from the same latex-free NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber).

* both provide superior protection against puncture and tears
* both provide chemical resistance....and
* both have a textured surface for reliable grip in wet & dry conditions

DIFFERENCE.
Exam Grade must pass strict FDA 510K regulations as well as ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) for standards on dimensions and physical properties. Exam Grade is regulated to provide protection from transmission of biological material in medical applications.

Industrial Grade is not regulated, but still provides barrier protection and chemical resistance for mechanics, janitors, food service, etc. better than latex or vinyl.

Nitrile, Latex, Vinyl Gloves

Vinyl Gloves -back to top
Vinyl was the first synthetic material available to the consumer. Vinyl belongs to the plastic-material class of thermoplastic materials, according to the Handbook of Plastics and Elastomers. It softens easily upon heating then hardens and takes the shape of the vinyl glove mold upon cooling. Other examples of thermoplastics are nylons, poly carbonates, polyurethanes, polyethylenes and polypropylenes. Vinyls are relatively tough and strong, resist water and abrasion, and are excellent electrical insulators. They are not ruined by prolonged contact with water, oils, foods, or common chemicals. This makes them a superior key component for medical grade gloves.

Why choose Vinyl Gloves?
Vinyl gloves are an economical choice for those seeking an alternative to latex for general use. Vinyl may not have the close-fitting flexibility of other synthetics, but for use in activities that do not require the highest degree of tactile precision, vinyl offers the best value.

Vinyl gloves tend to puncture or tear more easily and do not fit as well as a nitrile or latex. They are at their best when used for short procedures that don't involve contact with blood or body fluids, and should only be used in low risk procedures.
